Welcome to our website. There is HOLZ AND STEIN (Noble Needles) NEWS! We have received a surprise shipment of needles, mostly rosewoods and a few kingwoods (a first time event!). There are mostly small sizes, which is what you have been clamoring for in the past year. So....check our Needle Page or give us a call . . . these small sizes will be hard to keep in stock!

Now that Spring has sprung, and temperatures are rising, we know you will be wanting to work on lighter weight projects through the end of summer. Check our lace shawl kits and sock kits for your summer knitting. We feature most of Hazel Carter's lace shawl kits, including "The Petal Sonnet Triangular Shawl"—inspired by Tennyson's "Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal," worked in Thistledown lace singles, and "Violets by the River Shawl"—a favorite pattern, available in either a luxurious 100% Silk yarn or in a two-colored hand-dyed Silk yarn. You will be amazed at her designs when you peek at our website. We hope you'll find much inspiration here.  

We also have a number of wonderful classic books in our stock collection. You might want to order before they, all of a sudden, go out of print. In any event, if there is a book or something else that you are looking for, just give us a call. We might have it in stock and if we don't we may be able to get it for you.
